The Aloe Vera plant is a succulent plant.  It is stemless or very short stemmed with thick, greenish flesshy leaves that fan out from the plants central stem.  Needs good light source.  Needs good drainage and YOU MUST let the soil completely dry out between waterings.  Great for the skin if you have an irriation or burn.
